3 ways XFINITY My Account makes your life easier

Working at XFINITY, I’ve seen firsthand how Comcast uses technology to give our customers new ways to enjoy the entertainment they love. Sure, it’s about embracing 21st Century technologies. For us, though, it’s more about giving our customers great all-around experiences.

Of course, I love that Comcast gives me the latest toys, from the X1 platform, to the voice remote, to the Stream App that delivers live TV to my smartphone. These features, and others, let me maximize my TV, internet, home security and phone service.

But, it’s about more than just giving customers the latest ways to enjoy the entertainment they love. It’s about finding ways to simplify their lives.

That’s why Comcast introduced XFINITY My Account, which gives people 24/7 online access to their XFINITY account. My Account can be accessed online, via the XFINITY My Account app on mobile devices and on your TV box.

My Account is a 100-percent digital way to manage your account, pay bills and more via your smartphone or mobile device. If you’re not familiar with these features, let me tell you three ways it will make your life easier.

 

Check for your technician

I know from personal experience that the hardest part of adding or upgrading your service is waiting for your technician to arrive. That’s why I love Tech ETA, a new feature exclusive for My Account that alerts me when the technician is on his or her way to my house.

Tech ETA shows me the technician’s name and photo, so I know exactly who’s coming. Plus, I can view, reschedule and cancel current appointments.

Take your account into your own hands

My Account lets me modify account information like my account number, personal info, security PIN and XFINITY Voice number. Also, I use it to change my WiFi network name and password, view an internet usage meter (in select markets), set up a remote control, view my channel lineup and connection status, troubleshoot and restart my device.

My Account is an easy and paperless way to view and pay bills. It can sync with a credit card, debit card and bank account, so I can store payment information. Trees everywhere will thank you for signing up for our paperless EcoBill and autopay options.

Get the answers you deserve

Have a question or concern for Comcast? My Account gets me the answers I need – without having to call into the XFINITY customer service center. No wait times. No jazzy on-hold music. I can even chat live with a Comcast representative via the web portal. Plus, a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) give me the answers to common questions about my service.
